PACKAGE B. Bid edit 
All items in Package A, plus Straight Up will:  

→   be part of the bid team – attend meetings, provide advice, carry out actions  

→   receive draft content from researchers and industry partners and rewrite/edit as
       needed; “interview” key personnel for the content if needed

→   ensure responses meet (exceed!) criteria  

→   suggest alignment to government priorities and program requirements   

→   upload content to online application portal (if required). 

PACKAGE C. Bid write   
All items in Packages A and B plus Straight Up will:   

→   be the lead writer and/or editor of the written components of the bid, ensuring the components are in one voice, a compelling narrative, and without unnecessary duplication 

→  prepare the budget 

→   assist key personnel and chief investigators with their ROPEs or CVs

→   liaise with partner research and industry organisations (emails and phone calls).  

PACKAGE D. Bid coordinate   
All items in Packages A, B and C plus Straight Up will:    

→   facilitate bid team meetings 

→   coordinate the different components of the bid alongside your project manager/leader  

→   prepare and distribute 'partner pack' (elements needed from partners as required by grant scheme). 

PACKAGE E. Grant strategy workshop    
Develop your vision and positioning for a grant project idea to attract industry or research partners and grant funding. The workshop can include external people, or only internal. We will:     

→   prepare the agenda and workshop format

→   prepare a slide deck to guide the workshop discussions and activities

→   develop, with the project lead, a list of people who can help scope the vision, industry needs and draft objectives for the grant proposal; invite them/support their invitation to the workshop

→   facilitate the workshop. Define the narrative and tease out the messages we need to put into the grant proposal, and if required also a prospectus, website, brochure, etc.

A high-level report of workshop outcomes, actions, and recommendations is an additional $2,200 + GST, which includes a scribe (additional Straight Up person to attend the workshop). 

PACKAGE F. Fellowship review   
Deep-dive review by one of our highly experienced funding experts. Straight Up will: 

→   deeply edit a complete proposal  

→   highlight gaps in responses to the criteria and other fellowship requirements  

→   integrate your responses to our feedback (if time permits).  

PACKAGE G. Fellowship edit    
All items in Package F plus Straight Up will: 

→   rewrite/edit raw content to shape into a proposal; “interview” fellowship applicant for content if needed   

→   ensure responses meet (exceed!) criteria  

→   suggest alignment to government priorities and program requirements   

→   upload content to online application portal (if required).    

PACKAGE H. Fellowship write    
All items in Packages F and G plus Straight Up will: 

→   be the lead writer and/or editor of the written components of the application, ensuring the components are in one voice, a compelling narrative, and without unnecessary duplication 

→   be part of the bid team – attend meetings, provide advice, carry out actions   

→   prepare the project budget    

→   assist with preparing the applicant’s CV     

→   emails and phones calls with partner research and industry organisations.
